No pricing pages, no funnels. Tell me a little about where you are and what you are hoping to change, and we will figure out together whether this is a fit.

Please keep this general. Do not include medical details, test results, or health history here — we will cover all of that privately in our first conversation.

Questions

Frequently asked

The questions people usually ask first. If yours is not here, just ask it directly — that is what the form is for.

What is coaching, exactly?

Coaching is a structured partnership focused on where you are going, not on diagnosing where you have been. I am not here to hand you advice or a plan off a shelf — I ask the questions that help you see your own patterns, then we build small, sustainable steps and I hold you to them.

How is this different from therapy?

Therapy generally treats mental health conditions and often works with the past. Coaching works forward from where you are now, with a healthy client, toward specific change. They complement each other well, and plenty of people do both. Coaching is not therapy and is not a substitute for it.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

If you already know roughly what you want to change but keep not doing it, coaching is likely a good fit. If you are in crisis, or dealing with something that needs clinical care, therapy or medical care should come first — and I will say so plainly rather than take you on.

How long are the programs?

The Art of Being Liked runs twelve weeks across three phases. Health Coaching has no fixed length — we work at the pace that fits your goals. Some people need a few sessions to build a habit that sticks; others want ongoing support.

What actually happens in a session?

Sessions run one hour, once a week, scheduled the week before. We can meet however works for you — phone, Zoom, FaceTime, Google Meet, WhatsApp, whatever is easiest.

If you need to move a session, a 24-hour reschedule notice applies.

What does it cost?

Pricing is by inquiry. Programs differ in length and focus, and I would rather talk with you about what you actually need than post a menu. Reach out and I will be straightforward about it in our first conversation.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not bill insurance directly. Some clients find coaching is covered under their plan and can claim it themselves — check with your provider. HSA funds are often usable for coaching as well, sometimes with a letter of medical necessity from your doctor. I am happy to talk through what is realistic for your situation when we connect.

Is what I share confidential?

What you share with me stays between us. Sessions run by phone or video call, and I don’t share what we discuss with anyone. This is not therapy and is not a substitute for it.

Do I need to have diabetes to work with you?

Not at all. Diabetes Focus sits within Health Coaching because I live with it myself — not a separate track you have to qualify for. Health Coaching here is for anyone working toward a goal, whatever that goal is.

What if I miss a week or fall behind?

Totally okay — this is self-paced, and one missed session is not a problem. If missing sessions becomes a pattern, I will check in honestly and ask whether this is the right time for the program. That is not a punishment — it is making sure the work actually fits where you are.
